Saturday

#relaxing

What a week! This morning, I'm relaxing. :)

Friday

equilibrium

(Saw this at work today) Just a reminder that most everyone is looking for that balance. #win.

Wednesday

Kew Fete

On Saturday the mister and I took the short journey over to Kew Green for Kew Fete. In addition to having a delicious hog roast and chocolate cake, I found an awesome feature on one of my pic apps!

Kew is such a lovely quaint neighborhood. We unfortunately didn't make it to The Original Maids of Honour (neither their booth at the Fete or the actual shop) which is sort of a legend as bakeries south of the river go. I'm really hoping to try one of their picnic spreads once the sun comes out again!

Tuesday

summer sales

The sales are on! And since the weather has been pretty crap recently it means there's an abundance of great spring clothes.

One of my favorite places to shop during the sales is Comptoir des Cotonniers because I can't afford a thing in there usually. I've picked out a few of my favs and will hopefully be bagging a few of these soon!

Sunday

Outdoor dining

June weather hasn't been that great but we have had a few glorious days. And whenever the sun is shining I'll always try and get out to take advantage of it - usually by drinking and dining outdoors.

Happy second day of summer and here's hoping there are many more opportunities for picnics, country pubs and dinner parties with friends.

Tuesday

tray inspiration

Since we bought the flat we've been doing a lot more entertaining (yay!) but since I'm still relatively new to the art of throwing a dinner party, I tend to opt for very similar meals all the time. On our flight back from Hawaii, I picked up Rachel Ray's mag and at the back I found some beautiful inspiration for starters. I can't wait to try some of these!
