The Hour

Have you been watching The Hour? For those of you who haven't never heard of The Hour, here's the trailer. I honestly don't think it's going to be the next Mad Men like everyone is claiming but it is decent TV.

I like the mix of period drama and crime (my favorite genre) but what I find a bit boring is the repeat references to the prejudices of the time. It was shocking and therefore compelling in Mad Men because we'd never really seen anything like that on a TV show before. Now it's just old news.

I'm not bowled over by the show yet, but I am interested to see where the double murder (or one murder, one suicide) story goes.
